So I ran into this roughly 7 hours ago, and it still is behaving the same way.

When I'm in Financier, and logged out, I have this in the bottom left corner:

Don't have an acocunt? Upgrade to unlock syncing.  Free for 7 days!
Warning! You are in offline mode.
Click the button below to sign in to
ensure you do not lose data.
Sign into your account

So I click on the sign in link, then click on sign in button with email and password
entered.

Now the bottom left shows:

Subscription ended!
[Followed by my email address and a logout button]

Uncertain of how to pay for my subscription, I browse to financier.io
I find the "please sign up for our paid plan" hyperlink in the text
(doesn't really jump out)   This takes me to a page showing free plan
and premium plan information, with a "Sign up" box in the middle and a
"Try free for 7 days" button.  I'm not really sure if clicking on the button
is going to take me to a pay page, since it doesn't seem to think I've already
done the trial, but I click on the button anyway.

A spinning effect begins on the grey button, after which is shown,
"Internal error.  Please try again later."

I will try again later, but wanted to give a head's up.

You can change your subscription settings in the all budgets page (https://app.financier.io/). Make sure you're logged in, and that should work.

Sorry it wasn't more clear! I definitely need to improve the error message if you try to sign up with an email address that already exists in the system. Funny I didn't catch that before.

A little tip: While in your budget, click the budget name to go back to the "all budgets" page.
I am the Financier owner/admin/coder dude.

That's it!  Ah well, it's really obvious once you're on that page.  I hadn't been on that page since setting up my initial budget :)
