Scheduled Transactions?

This is one of the top three features that I need in order to migrate over from YNAB4. The other two being a mobile app and import/export capabilities.

Would it be possible to get a rough timeline of when we could hope to see scheduled transactions?

A very rough estimate with asterisks that you may very well miss the deadline is perfectly acceptable!  ;D I know many people want to start a new calendar year with a new app, and I was hoping I could make that switch parrot

Nope, sorry. There's just too much stuff ahead of it for any estimate. :(

I'll try again.

In all honesty, mobile access and importing ofx are a higher priority to me, but I still don't think I can completely convert without scheduled transactions (as long as YNAB4 is at least functional). If mobile access for YNAB4 stopped working, I would probably consider using YNAB4 just to monitor my scheduled transactions while using Financier for everything else (assuming mobile access and importing ofx are here by that point).

Scheduled Transactions to me are the main feature that separates the serious budgeting software from the ones that just wants to be called one.

think Android have most scheduled ones, but i am surprise why on webbased ones there is very little. i am not sure if its the technical challenges.

Scheduled transactions (especially recurring for bills) will feed the quick budget as well.

This is exactly where I'm at, too. I'll need scheduled transactions to make the full jump, but I'll start leaning heavily on Financier if/when YNAB 4 breaks.

I also will not be able to make a full break from YNAB4 without Scheduled Transactions.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to bump it's priority.

Whilst I can absolutely get by without scheduled transactions i would vote for a bump in priority (depending on what the higher priorities are).

Which makes me wonder what are the other priorities @Alex ?

Mobile app, transaction import, some refactor I need to do, all sorts of other small stuff :)

Absolutely supportive of the two bolded items. Not sure about "refactor" or the "small stuff" though.

I use scheduled transactions for two things: reminding myself to pay bills when the transaction pops up in the register, and quick budgeting the right amount at the beginning of the month. Since I don't use scheduled transactions for much more than the convenience, I'm curious about some of the more critical uses for scheduled transactions?

It's my bill pay reminder system.

I have all of my bills setup for automatic payment. I use scheduled transactions to look ahead the next 30-60 days and determine what my cash flow needs are. Once I confirm the date and amount of a scheduled automatic payment, I enter it into the register. I let scheduled income come into the register on the actual day I receive it. Without the scheduled transaction register I would lose my system for making sure all my bills are covered (and I have enough cash in my checking account). I push excess cash (above 5k after expenses) into my Ally Bank savings account to earn 1%.
