For those that are technically inclined, you can run the following code snippet in your console to generate your list of categories. You must be on the budget page of your budget:
[].slice.call(document.querySelectorAll('.budget__category-label.budget__month-row')).map(e => {
if (e.classList.contains('budget__master-category-label')) {
return `\n${e.innerText.trim()}`;
}
return e.innerText.trim();
}).join('\n')

Console? Care to explain?
Basically do this and paste in the code above. You'll get a formatted list output which you can copy paste here. (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/)

That was neat!
Here's mine btw. I'm scrounging other posts in this thread for some fine tuning.

Moving Cushion (equivalent of one net paycheck because I want to move to another city and if I did, I would probably have to go a few weeks without income during the transition)
I just added a "coffee" category. For the coffee shops that I'm visiting more often to work on Financier. ;)

@Alex - it's for one-offs that I am saving up for but don't necessarily want to create a whole new category. I want to get a pair of custom fit leather boots and they'll be about $450. It's not a high priority so I am saving in drips and drabs (a $1 here, $5 there). I don't want to keep it in my clothing category because I do in fact want to save for these and if it is part of clothing in general, I won't be able to track where I am. When I do save up and buy them, I will reallocate the funds to Clothing for the purposes of my spending reports. Same goes for my new laptop. I've got all the money saved up, but I don't know what I want (well, I kinda do - I'm assuming that I will want the Surface Book 2 when (if?) it comes out in the spring). When it's finally decided, money will be reallocated to Technology. I use notes to track what I've got. :o
It's different for categories like Furniture. I'm not saving up for anything particular. I'm kinda slowly changing my style. But don't know what I want. So if I see something I like, I can check the category to see if I have the funds and then make a decision. So that's why that is just a general category.
And yes, I am aware that I am coming from a place of great privilege to have this kind of flexibility in my budget.
It's definitely a good idea, I should have a category like that :)

This is a great idea that I have several uses for (not clothes specifically), but it never occurred to me to do it this way.
Thanks for the idea. parrot
