This is a list of common issues that I regularly run into, sorted most important (or annoying) to me, top down. Most of these items will likely already be covered on the roadmap, but I wanted to keep a personal priority list going. I will keep this list updated and sorted as progress occurs.
Current Issues
- Clicking <tab> does not select the highlighted category or payee when entering a transaction.
- Losing focus when editing a transaction cancels the edit, losing the partially entered transaction data.
- The inline calculator should not overwrite the existing value when pressing one of the math keys. If a value is present and highlighted, the cursor should jump to the end when pressing a math key.
- Unable to click and drag to select values on the budget screen without moving the category around.
- Red bubbles around negative category balances do not have enough padding, and the red is too sharp. (Temporarily fixed this with Stylish script)
- Category balances that are positive are little difficult to pick out among all the white/black numbers. See the post in the feature requests forum for an example.
- Quick budget options for the full budget need a confirmation. Almost clicked the wrong thing a second time.
Issues That Have Been Resolved
- Cleared "C" is not centered in icon, and is a little large.
#1 definitely annoys me every time I try to enter a transaction.
QuoteClicking <tab> does not select the highlighted category or payee when entering a transaction.
This gets me all the time, too. Pressing the Enter key when you would normally use Tab to complete the highlighted category/payee seems to perform the same function. Tab-completion is just so much more conventional and second-nature at this point.
I have a feeling when I convert to tabs, everyone is going to be so confused for a week or so after getting used to <enter>. ;)

Is it possible to make both work? I think in the long run new users coming over, etc will naturally use tab.
I'd rather use enter for submit. But I have to look at it more.
I didn't know <enter> was an option. HA! Have to go try it out now!

I agree. Tab should select, enter should finish the transaction.
When I first started using the app I kept trying to use tab. This was before
@Alex allowed category-less transactions to be entered. I was trying to enter transactions quickly and became so frustrated that I couldn't hit the save button on the transaction that I just gave up entirely.
I still find that I will accidentally enter transactions with no category, or half-entered payees, but at least I can find them with the big red box now.
