Yep. I got my email from them the other day and signed up to be notified early next year when it's available.

Credit Karma is great!

General Discussion / Re: Budget Categories to 0?

I have certain categories that I clean out at the end of every month so that there is a $0 balance. While I have other categories that I keep accumulating in. It depends on the category's purpose...

Same here. It totally depends on the category.

My electric bill category for instance always has a balance at the end of winter months as I don't use that much electricity to heat my house. Those balances build up month after month until summer hits. Then in the Hotlanta summers I need those built up balances to pay those dreadful electric bills after trying to cool the house down.

Groceries on the other hand are usually within $50-75 of what I budget monthly so if I have a leftover balance there I $0 it out.

Not so with eating out though. Since I don't eat out too terribly much I don't budget too much for it. However there are those times where I do find myself eating out a lot in a month so I like having "extra" money in that category. The extra money comes from previous month's balances that I left in there knowing I'd have a month at some point where I needed it.

But when you create a new master category, it still won't allow you to drag it to the very bottom. But once you add sub categories to it, it works fine.

Yeah, I just tested adding a master category without adding any sub categories and I could not move the master to the last position in the list. I was able to move it there after adding a sub category as you said @michaelmjd

Bug Reports / Re: RE: Syncing data is incorrect on iPad

UPDATE:

So I tried logging in from my iphone and after it syncs, it's showing the same data as my iPad...just the 4 transactions. I'm beginning to wonder if my desktop version (with 30+ entries) is not actually syncing/backing up and I'm only seeing what's saved in the browser? I hope that's not the case because I would hate to lose all of those entries.

Does anyone know of a way to check if I'm accessing sync'd info in my browser or if it's coming from what's already saved on my machine?

Do you see the "Sync Complete" message in the lower left corner; just below the "Add an Account" button? That's the only way I know how to tell.

I think I understand what you're saying. Have you tried collapsing the "new" bottom master category? I came across this early on and discovered if I collapse the now "new" bottom master category I could move master categories below it.

I looked, but can't determine exactly what you're seeing.

I can move my master categories around and the categories within them just fine. Even after moving the masters around.

Since I have packages from Amazon delivered almost daily to my office I'll refrain from posting so not to blow up the board.  ;)

Crazy. It's possible the computer is swapping memory or something. If anyone else encounters this I'll definitely take a closer look. :)

Just to test it I tried from my office computer and it took 4 minutes and 14 seconds. Our company works with very large data files daily so I wouldn't think computer resources would be the issue.

That being said let's put this on the back burner for now. I can wait the few minutes it's taking and I'd rather you be able to commit all of your resources to higher priorities. We can circle back to this down the road.

As a follow up it just now took 1 minute and 42 seconds for my JSON file to start downloading using Chrome.

Not a huge deal, but at some point I'd like to get to the bottom of it.

Mine is taking over a minute and closer to two minutes to start after clicking the "Backup Budget". Is this normal?

Just to follow up, if you do the above, clearing local budgets should no longer be a problem with the latest version. Thx @Paul

Yep I've been able to login and out with no problem.

Very nice!

So wanting to pull that trigger, but I rely so much on mobile entry.
