Bug Reports / Re: Code text in category pulldown

I can't seem to recreate it consistently, but it also might have something to do with entering an unexpected date format in the transaction?

Bug Reports / Code text in category pulldown
October 27, 2016, 11:57:38 AM
I've seen this issue a couple of times and I'm not sure what's causing it.
When I went to enter a new transaction, I get code in the Category dropdown
QuoteC{{$parent.$parent.$parent.getCategoryBalance(category.id)...
as well as the category for the currents month income not displaying a month (see attachment).

I am unsure if it happened this way the other times I've encountered this, but at least this time, it occurred after entering a new Payee and pressing <tab> to switch to the category field.  A secondary "bug" here is that when I enter a new Payee, pressing <enter> does not save the Payee and move to the next field as expected.

QuoteClicking <tab> does not select the highlighted category or payee when entering a transaction.

This gets me all the time, too.  Pressing the Enter key when you would normally use Tab to complete the highlighted category/payee seems to perform the same function.  Tab-completion is just so much more conventional and second-nature at this point.

QuoteDate formats are too picky. If I type “8/31”, it should default to 8/31/2016. Similarly, typing 8/31/2016 is not recognized either, as it has to be MM/DD/YY format. You are unable to save a transaction if the date is in the wrong format, without an alert as to why.

Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference.  If we're seconding or putting in "me too"s, this is a small feature that would really help my usage, since it would decrease the amount of time it takes to enter transactions.  This is a feature that I really got used to while using YNAB4.

Is there a way to change the format of the date?  For some reason, in my browser, it's defaulting to DD/MM/YYYY but I would like to set it to MM/DD/YYYY or MM/DD/YY.  There doesn't seem to be any place to modify format settings yet.  This is only a small issue, though.
