Feature Requests / Re: Integration with Pocket Sense

Hmmm.  Wish I had an idea for troubleshooting.  I remember a couple hiccups at setup but it's been too long since I first did it and I can't remember what I did now.  Hope you can get it sorted!

Feature Requests / Re: Integration with Pocket Sense

Yes please to Pocket Sense compatibility down the road!  It makes it so much easier to avoid missed transactions and keep accounts updated.  I just started using it this year after initially thinking the setup looked too complicated but it really only took an hour or so to get it going and since then has saved me loads of time.

I need the OFX/QFX imports to switch over fully and a mobile app for my better half to use on the go.  The use of Pocket Sense to automatically download any missed transactions for YNAB4 has really sped up my workflow this year and I'd love to be able to use it with Financier if at all possible.   Not a priority but eventually I'd like to be able to mess around with reports a bit more.  I like to remove my mortgage and home equity (both big numbers due to expensive real estate) so I can get fun visual feedback on my other savings and investment goals.

I was pleased to see the YNAB converter tool worked seamlessly when I tried it out today...great work!

@Alex
Indeed I am! Moved out here from MN 16 years ago after going to college in WA. It's a beautiful place to live (shhh...don't tell anyone- it's getting crowded here)  ;)

Introductions / Thrilled to find a viable alternative

Hi all!  Like many here I'm a long time YNAB user.  It changed our financial life significantly and I recommended it to family and friends at least monthly over the past 5 years.  Unfortunately for me the newest iteration no longer works as seamlessly for our family.  We are now at a stage in which our financial affairs are well in order and I want to reduce as much tedium as possible when budgeting.  nYNAB reduced the ease of budgeting for me and my read is that I am not part of the current target market for the product. My plan was to stick with YNAB4 as long as possible and then maybe just continue with my own spreadsheet to make sure our broad goals were being met.  Fortunately I ran across a Financier mention while scanning the YNAB forums to see if there was any more talk of keeping long time users satisfied.  I am happy to send $12 your way now to encourage continued development and will start messing around with the software.  It looks very promising so far and appreciate the engaged response by the developer.  I will likely switch over fully once there is an iPhone app for my husband to use.
