I would however like to add a +1 for grouping on or off budget accounts. Maybe a new feature request is in order.

I don't personally have a lot of open accounts, but I know many do. I can see where users could make good use of it and it would be a nice feature offered by Financier that is not offered by some others.  8)

Like the category grouping (https://discuss.financier.io/index.php?topic=77), I can see its value. I'm one of those who have a lot of open accounts and if they were grouped by say an example, "Investment Property (IP) 1"; "IP 2" etc, this could work but it depending on its layout, this may affect the real estate space on a mobile device.
I was mentioning a feature on reddit for an ability to save custom views for accounts and/or categories (https://www.reddit.com/r/financier/comments/5f52zt/i_wrote_an_article_on_how_financierio_or_ynab_can/dajsvze/) which can work well whether grouping is implemented or not?

Anyway, I vote for the order of the navbar

All the questions about showing/not showing closed accounts and grouping accounts. Similar to a feature request I put on Reddit last week. Would love to see something like "hidden accounts" for the not-often-but-occasionally-used accounts, as opposed to "closed accounts" for the ones that are actually closed.

There are a few accounts I have for specific purposes that I don't need cluttering everything every day, but having them in the transfer list would be nice.

@jasonb The good news is it's pretty easy to re-open an account (two clicks) and there is no balance or other requirement to close an account. :) So for those few times that happens, I think 2 clicks to re-open, 2 to re-close is acceptable.

That being said, if enough people are annoyed, I can circle back. 👍

The real fix is to have some other way to group accounts so 'closed' isn't used as a pseudo group. Or an 'inactive' group.

That's exactly what I do in YNAB4 at the moment, so you're right, it's not too painful. Just making suggestions for making things better. Probably lower on the priority list than some requests though!

I think the bigger solution of coming up with a way to create account groups, is probably the bigger fix. I like the concept a lot, would be interesting to figure how it would end up working!

I agree.

But like mentioned, this is something that is nice to have after I'm using financier. I need scheduled transactions, ofx import, and mobile access before I can use the software.
Biking and budgeting my way to early retirement!

Here here!

Might as well ask for the nice-to-haves while we think of them, is my figuring! I'm sure they will be prioritised appropriately (i.e. please do those three first because when they're in I'll be able to think about using Financier properly rather than just playing like I'm doing at the moment!)
